Here is how you can learn, serve and grow in this church:
Sunday morning services – 10am to 1:00pm
Worship with us! Our main weekly worship starts with a prayer session, followed by praise and worship through songs which are mostly modern with a mix of traditional hymns, personal testimonies and a thought-provoking Bible based message, all intended to encourage you to develop your relationship with God. We set aside this time to come together in a sharing atmosphere to honour God and hear from Him.
Our New to church page gives useful information if this is your first time visiting us.
Children’s Sunday School – during morning service
Jesus says “Allow the little children to come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (Luke 8:16). After the praise and worship part of the service, all children go off for separate teaching classes appropriate to their age group. Here they get to know who God is, through Bible stories, aided by fun and hands-on activities. Classes last about an hour.
There are also opportunities for the kids to take part in morning services from time to time, showcasing what they have learnt and their creative talent.
Communion (Breaking of Bread) – every 3rd Sunday
A brief time, during service, of reflection as we remember the importance of the death of Christ and his shed blood, and what this means for us today.
Prayer and fasting – date will be announced
We do not underestimate the power of prayer coupled with the importance of living a life of regular fasting, and what God can do as a result, when we devote time to this area of going deeper in the things of Christ. The fasting beings in our personal time. The topic of prayer is given in advance. And we break the fast together on the chosen Sunday.
Family ministry – every 4th Sunday
A chance after service for us all to get to know each other better in a casual setting over tea and coffee … and cakes! (we have some talented bakers among us!).
Bible study and prayer meeting – 7:30pm to 9:00pm
We believe in a prayer answering God, who responds to our faith in His Word. We meet to pray for needs – personal, local and worldwide – and to share and engage in the teachings and truths of the transforming Word of God. Both prayers and studying God’s Word develop, support and strengthen personal spiritual growth and establishes our vision, as we discover and realise what it really means to know Jesus Christ and apply his teachings in practical ways to our everyday life.
